The Evening Standard heard about me employing ex offenders and got in touch to hear all about why and how I do what I do. I find it one of the most important things we pursue at Social Pantry and it doesn’t just improve us as a company but it changes the lives of a lot of young men who might feel like there is no one out there to help them.
When I started Social Pantry I made a commitment that 10 percent of my work force would be ex-offenders. As someone who got expelled from school as a teenager, I believe everyone deserves a second chance. At a time when the labour shortage within hospitality is at its most severe, I’m pleased to have partnered with Caterer to offer the tools for how to employ ex-offenders and highlight the benefits of a diverse workforce
